Ben & Megan
We would be honored to welcome your baby into our home and lives, surround them with all the love and support they deserve, and will strive to give them all that life has to offer. We know that this is the greatest gift you could ever give, and we will make sure your baby knows that. Thank you for taking the time to get to know us.
Our Adventures

We've been on many different trips and adventures together as a couple and we're excited to go on many more with our future child.
We have been to different states: North Carolina, Kentucky, Florida, Washington D.C, Pennsylvania, and Hawaii on our honeymoon. Getting to do fun and unique things at each place: hikes, museum tours, relaxing at the pool and beach, universal studios (Harry Potter world), luau, snorkeling, and eating lots of new foods at nice restaurants.
We've also enjoyed taking day trips within Ohio: jeep rides on back roads, Hocking Hills, museums, parks, canoeing, hiking, walks, Columbus Zoo, the Wilds, Cedar Point, and finding new restaurants to eat at along the way.
We hope to continue to explore the country and the world with our child.
Why We Chose Adoption

Ben has been considering adoption since going through cancer treatments that allowed him to beat cancer in high school but ultimately caused infertility. He always knew that adoption would be the likely road he would take, and Megan has been excited to share that path with him ever since she knew he was the man she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. Megan's mother and Ben's cousin were both adopted as babies and we're excited to now start our adoption journey and adopt a baby of our own. We are so thankful for adoption because we realize without adoption we wouldn't have the opportunity to become parents.
What it Means to be Parents
We are so excited and grateful for the opportunity to get to be parents through adoption. We feel it is one of life's greatest blessings and are looking forward to sharing all life has to offer with our child. Together we will teach our child compassion and respect, to try their best, to own their actions, and to share their gifts.
We look forward to sharing with our child the wonderful love our parents showed us growing up. Megan is excited to share her love of reading and learning with our child and spend summers together out by the pool and on vacations. Ben is excited to share his love of outdoor activities and cooking with our child.

Our House and Neighborhood

We live in a two-story, three bedroom house in the suburbs of Ohio with one acre of land, a fenced in back yard, fire pit for gatherings, and a movie theater/entertainment area in the basement. It's in the same school district that Megan works in and she looks forward to getting school breaks and summers off with our child.
We're both very involved in our church with committees, volunteering with children's programs, bible study, and helping out wherever needed. We will raise our child in the church and encourage them to be involved in church children's programs. We will also encourage them to participate in whatever sports, clubs, and hobbies they may wish to partake in.

Our community has an annual fair each year before school starts. It often brings people back to the area that have moved away and is a good place to catch up with old friends. Megan's parents have a pool that we look forward to taking our child to play in when they get older. There are also many parks we can take our child to and play on swings, slides, and go for nice walks.
Our Extended Families

We are both very close to our families, both emotionally and physically. Living five and ten minutes away from both of our parents, we see them weekly, often several times a week. We like to get together for family dinners, movies, special occasions, and spending time catching up with each other.
Megan's brother has special needs and she has always felt that it was, and continues to be a privilege for her to get to be his sister. We enjoy having him over for game nights, movie nights, dinners, walks, jeep rides, and ice cream runs. River, our family dog, brings entertainment and joy to all of our family. We all love spending time with her giving her treats, going for walks, playing with her, and taking her on car rides which she loves to do.

Our friends Ben and Jessica and their little boy are like family to us as well. Their son loves coming to Uncle Ben and Aunt Megan's to explore their big back yard, go on tractor rides, play with his toys, and eat fancy Uncle Ben meals. We enjoy not only getting time to play with their son but also catching up with Ben and Jessica too.
Our family is very excited for us to adopt a baby. Our parents are excited to be new grandparents and to help with childcare whenever it's needed. We can't wait to share our close family with the new baby.
From Us to You

First, thank you for taking the time to consider us. We appreciate the care and thought that went into making the decision to place your child for adoption. We know that this is the greatest gift you could ever give someone, and we will make sure your baby knows that. We’re praying for you in this time of decision making, whatever your eventual choice may be.
We’ve known for a while that adoption was our likely path and we’re excited to be so close to our dream becoming a reality. We’re excited to be parents, and will forever be grateful for the gift that you will be giving us, if you decide to give us that gift. We want you to rest assured that we will raise your baby with all the love and care they deserve, and will put their needs above all else, always and forever.
We met each other in 2009, as youth leaders at our church, and have been married since 2016. We try to celebrate each day that we have together and spend as much time together as we can. We both understand that this life is short and try to cherish every moment and not let petty arguments over things enter our lives. We both try to make each other and those around us as happy as we can, and find that the joy of seeing others happy is worth more than whatever we get from getting our way.
Ben attended the University of Dayton and graduated with a degree in manufacturing engineering and a minor in quality assurance. He worked in a few manufacturing companies but is currently working as Quality Manager in central Ohio. Megan works as a speech therapist in the same school district that she attended through high school. Seeing how much speech therapy helped her brother growing up inspired her to pursue it as a career. She wanted to help other students like him learn to communicate more easily with family and friends. She is excited to be able to spend school breaks with our child.
In our lives we have both grown an appreciation for education, curiosity, and exploration. This can come from trips to new and exciting places or sitting down to explore a new world through books, TV, or movies. We are excited to share our love of learning, reading, cooking, and the great outdoors. Ben is excited to use woodworking to create fun and nurturing environments and play areas. While Megan can't wait to introduce our child to the wonderful worlds created by the books of her childhood.
If you do chose us, know that we are happy to send letters and pictures throughout the child's development, as well as stay in contact with email and phone calls / texts, if that is your desire. We'd also be happy to arrange for future visits for us and the child to get to see you throughout their life as they grow older. We also understand that life is always changing around us so if your relationship with us needs to change, whether that is more or less contact, we will do our best to accommodate those changes. If life becomes too hectic and you need space we will give you that space with no judgement.
We would be honored to welcome your baby into our home and lives, and surround them with all of the love and support they deserve. We will do our best to give them all that life has to offer. We thank you again for taking the time to read this and consider gifting us with the greatest gift you could ever give us, the honor of raising your child.
Sincerely,
Ben & Megan
