Patrick & Kimberly
Thank you for taking the time to read about our family. We have prayed for years about growing our family and we are excited to embark on this adoption journey. We admire you for considering adoption and will keep you in our thoughts and prayers as you navigate this difficult decision. If we are chosen, know that your child will be unconditionally loved and supported. We appreciate your consideration and honored to be on this journey with you.
Why We Chose Adoption

We have always wanted a big family. Currently, we have a 10-year-old son named Jack and 7-year-old daughter named Eleanor. They are truly the best kids - Jack is incredibly thoughtful and kind, and Eleanor is extremely empathic and nurturing. They are both at an age where they are showing independence and responsibility, and they are so excited at the thought of having a new brother/sister.
But, our road to adoption was not without heartache and pain. While we have been blessed, we have tried for the last five years to conceive naturally. When we were unsuccessful and endured a miscarriage, we decided to close the door on biologically expanding our family and open the door to adoption. After many long conversations and lots of prayers, we knew adoption was the right choice and we are so excited to extend our family.
Qualities We Love, Admire and Respect in Each Other
Kimberly About Patrick: Patrick is an extremely generous and patient person. He is incredibly passionate, goal-oriented, and very successful in his endeavors. His dedication to both his legal career and his family is amazing. Although he is busy at the office most days, he always makes time for his family by helping cook dinner and playing with the kids after work. He is truly the best dad! After 17 years together, he still surprises me every day. He's always on a quest to find a new adventure, whether it's a new vacation spot or trying out a new restaurant. I get butterflies when he calls or walks through the door. He keeps me on my toes and I couldn't imagine life with anyone else.
Patrick About Kimberly: Kimberly is my best friend, and she has been since the day I met her almost two decades ago. She has taught me about empathy, emotion, love, and faith. She makes me a better person. I love how she can make friends with anyone and doesn't know a stranger. Her loving, fun spirit is infectious. Also, I have constantly been impressed by how driven Kimberly has been - from waking up at 5 am for work before college classes; to working tirelessly as a young school teacher; to her boundless energy and love for our children. Perhaps the thing I love most about Kimberly is how she is as a mother. I am amazed every day at how she has made a home for our family, filled it with joy, and raised two children who embody her same empathy, kindness, and outgoing qualities.
Adoption in Our Family
We know the road to adoption isn't easy and shouldn't be taken lightly. Personally, Patrick has an adopted younger brother who came into his life when Patrick was 16 years old. That experience has helped shape Patrick into the person he is today. Patrick knows first-hand what it's like to be a sibling and family member to an adopted child. Likewise, Kimberly first met Patrick's adopted brother when he was only six-years-old and became very close to him early on.
We believe having this experience in our lives has given us great insight and knowledge. We have come to learn that adoption is a unique, beneficial experience for all involved. We love the idea that each of us will grow as result of bringing an adopted child into our family. We can only hope to fill that child's life with the same joy that he/she will bring to us.

Our House and Neighborhood
We live in a wonderful, diverse community. We are surrounded by friends, and no one is a stranger in this Midwestern, suburban town. We truly believe we have the best of both worlds - we live in a small, affluent town, but we are close by the big city with all its vibrant activities and amenities.
Our house is a two-story, colonial home - and we love it! It is the perfect blend of older character and new amenities. We have six bedrooms, five bathrooms, two playrooms and a "movie theater" in the basement.

Our favorite part of our home is in the backyard. We have a big green yard with a play set, and we recently added a new pool. The whole area is peaceful, private, and inviting. We enjoy swimming, grilling on the BBQ, relaxing with a snack and listening to music or nature.
Our school district is one of the very best in the state. The elementary school is right down the street and we enjoy walking the kids to school each day. The neighborhood is filled with children who play outside and get together often.
Our Extended Families
Both of our families live close and are actively involved in our lives. We see our families on a weekly basis. Grandparents love spending time at our house, having the kids for a sleepover, or going on adventures with us, whether it's locally or on vacation.
Our favorite thing to do with extended family is a night of cooking, playing games, and laughing together. It usually starts with parents making dinner while the kids show off their newest art project from school or telling their grandparents about a new dance move or sports skill that they have learned.

Next, we all eat together at one big table. We always take time to appreciate what we are so lucky to have - a table full of food, a beautiful home, and most importantly, a loving family. After dinner, we bring out the games! The kids cannot get enough of charades, UNO, and Monopoly. The games usually end up with more laughs than winners. It's our favorite part of the evening. If there is a Cardinals baseball or Blues hockey game that night, we will put that on, too. We love squeezing onto the couches and cheering on our hometown teams!
Our families are incredibly supportive and excited for our journey to adoption.
From Us to You

Thank you for considering adoption with our family. We know this must be a very difficult time for you. We cannot imagine all of the emotions that you are experiencing. You should know that, no matter your decision, we are in awe of your courage and strength. You are doing something that many cannot, and you should be very proud of yourself. We will continue to lift you up in our daily prayers.
We also want you to feel comfort in knowing that choosing our family to adopt your baby is making a choice to provide your baby with a life full of love, support, and opportunity. Our family is made up of two loving, patient parents; two empathetic, fun-loving siblings; and the most cuddly little puppy there ever was. We can provide your baby a wonderful life. And, we will be happy to send you letters and pictures, so that you can have peace of mind in seeing the beauty of your baby's life and love.
We have been married since 2013, but we have been best friends since the day we met in 2006. We love each other, and our family, with all our hearts. We have known since early in our relationship that we both wanted a big family. Raising a loving family together - one that has compassion for others, appreciation for its gifts, and a desire to make the world a better place - is our highest purpose. We are very excited about serving that purpose through adoption.
We have been preparing for the journey of adoption for a very long time - emotionally and physically. We know first-hand the joy and love that adoption can bring to everyone involved. So, we are more than ready to add your baby to our family.
We are blessed to have a beautiful home. Our house is big, and our nursery is ready. We have plenty of space, a big green yard, and a new pool that provides our children with comfort, support and room to grow. We live in a beautiful suburban town, with tree-lined streets, big parks, and brick homes. Our schools are among the very best in the State. And, our neighborhood is filled with other young families, eager to play and grow together.
We are also lucky to have family support nearby. Our parents live very close to us. They spend time with our children on a weekly basis. The grandparents have played a strong role in raising our children, and they are all in full support of our decision to adopt. We are very excited for our parents to add another grandchild to shower with their love and wisdom.
You are making a difficult decision. But, you can rest easy knowing that our family is well-equipped - emotionally and physically - to raise this baby in a home of warmth, love, and empathy. We would be honored to add your baby to our family as a sibling, child and grandchild. We promise to love this child unconditionally and always be patient, supportive and respectful to everyone involved in the process. Thank you for allowing us to share our story and hearts with you.
